GD Art Students "Wowed" the Crowd at Women's History Month Show

Several of GD's Women in Art joined local artists (photographer Patty Axford and painter Janet Hsiao) in exhibited their art as one of the several events that teacher Tammie Reynolds and a committee of 17 students have scheduled for Women's History Month this year.

Members of the committee served refreshments to guests as they viewed the exhibit and talked with artists. Guests also enjoyed music performed by the Groove Essential jazz band, which has been performing classic Big Band jazz numbers at a wide variety of school and private parties.

 GD student artwork will also be on display at Spring Into the Arts on April 5.

GDRHS Women's History Month Art Show

The Women's History Month Art Show is an annual event. So if you missed it, watch for it to happe again next March. Women artists who want to participate in next year's show should contact Tammy Reynolds at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School.
