Rising Stars among GD Art Program Alums

Greg Romano (GD ’05, RISD ’09) is a Junior Designer at SapientNitro in Boston, where he is currently working on the design for Dunkin’ Donut’s new (digital) menu boards. His work will be in all 6,000 Dunkin Donut’s locations in the coming months.

When Danielle Hurley, (GD ’05, Gordon College ’09) finishes her contract with Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C., she’ll travel to Portland Oregon to work at Michael Curry Design. Mr. Curry runs a production company that creates very large puppet and sculptural costume pieces, best known for the costumes for the Lion King on Broadway, in addition to Cirque du Soleil, the London Opera, Disney and the Olympics.

Jake Rainis (GD ’05, NU ’09) is working as a graphic designer at Metropolis Creative in Boston where he is the head designer for The Collective, an urban clothing company based out of Boston.

Robin Davis (GD ’07, RISD’11) is working at Media+Partners at Rhode Island School of Design. As a Design Assistant, she assists designers with many projects visible around campus, including poster design and packaging for Dining Service
